The Importance of Being Safe

Tree surgery is potentially extremely dangerous, which is why we recognise the vital importance of Health and Safety regulations, in order to protect customers, the public and our staff. Prior to work being carried out, staff undertake detailed site risk assessments to identify potential hazards enabling us to take positive steps to reduce risks and produce a ’safe system of work’.

All work we carry out conforms to exacting BS3998 quality standards and we are fully covered by Public Liability Insurance (£5 Million) and Employers’ Liability Insurance (£10 Million). We will happily provide a copy of the policies to clients.

All staff are trained, qualified and hold relevant NPTC certificates. We work in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Arboricultural Associations’ publication ‘A Guide to Good Climbing Practice’.

To ensure we remain fully compliant with current health and safety requirements we undertake ongoing audits of all our procedures, operations, employees and equipment.

We comply with The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Management of Health and Safety at Work Act 1992 and with relevant health and safety regulations and codes of practice.
